The Biolan Composting Toilet eco is designed to optimise the composting of waste with minimal intervention. Manufactured in Finland where it is used extensively, this hygienic and eco-friendly toilet is, quite simply the best on the market. 

At Pooped! we have created a toilet shelter to complement the Biolan. It is light, easy to clean, and externally vented, dispelling any negative bias towards using a compost loo and redefining what is possible in off-grid toilet use.

But our mission goes further. 

Modern consumption-based culture continues to find new ways to pollute the environment while also creating increasingly complex ways of cleaning it up. People are becoming aware that we can’t simply flush the problem of waste away – we need to take more individual responsibility by making different choices. Dealing with our own human waste using the natural process of composting is a basic first step towards more ecological living.
